Project description The ENNA project will tour Russia with a programme of seminars on the topic of green buildings and renewables-based district energy concepts. The main areas of focus will be structural energy efficiency, the use of solar thermal energy, biomass-based applications, photovoltaics and geothermal energy. A total of four campaigns taking the project to Moscow, Krasnodar Oblast and the city of Novocherkassk (both in southern Russia) will feature academic symposia as well as user forums in which Russian experts will also participate. Venues will include universities and specialist trade fairs such as HI TECH Building Moscow and YugBuild (the largest construction and architecture fair in southern Russia) . Participants also plan to attend the XI International Investment Forum in Sochi. The project aims to strengthen existing contacts and expand capacity for innovation on both the German and Russian sides of the partnership. Seminars will offer a platform for professional and personal exchange, as well as a chance to discuss specific opportunities for cooperation. After the campaigns, the focus of the project will switch to the development of joint initiatives and educational modules. This will be supported by the establishment of a web-based communication platform.
