Project description Aim of the project SimStadt 2.0 is the further development of a 3D urban energy system platform, which can be used by urban planners, engineers and energy providers for the energy analysis and interpretation of (renewable) supply systems. Through the use of physical models for buildings, energy systems and distribution networks, robust conclusions can be made on scenarios for urban districts, municipalities and regions. With regard to energy policy measures this will significantly improve the planning reliability and cost-effectiveness analysis.
