Project description |
The aim of the project led by Politechnico die Torino is to
develop a strategy for the use of fallow land and vacant
buildings in Turin. From an energy point of view, is it more
sensible to modernise such buildings or to replace them with
energy-efficient new buildings? Can inner-city areas be used
for decentralised energy supply? Urban simulations are to be
used in the project to answer such questions. To this end, a
comparative study will first be prepared on the basis of two
case studies. The method was developed by Prof. Mutani at the
Politecnico Turin. The case studies are based on geoinformation
systems and the urban simulation environment SimStadt. SimStadt
was developed at the HFT Stuttgart in a project funded by the
Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy. Within the framework
of the project there is also the possibility of an exchange of
students. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator |
