Project description |
The aim of the project is to transfer the "Smart Cities"
concept to small and medium-sized communities, taking into
account the special circumstances of rural areas. The focus is
on the networking of geoinformation and sensor data with the
integration of planning for investment projects that promote
sustainable, integrated development of municipalities, for
example in the Entwicklungsprogramm Ländlicher Raum (ELR).
Based on the 3D models of the national survey, a web platform
can be used to visualize and integrate specialist data such as
environmentally relevant sensor data (e.g. power consumption of
public buildings, yield of PV systems), development plans,
architectural models for planning designs (BIM) as well as
parking areas and traffic flows (mobility concepts). The aim is
to offer geoinformation services for the sustainable
development of attractive places to live and work in rural
areas and to provide an intuitive participation platform. The
target group is urban and transport planning, architects and
citizens as well as regional business enterprises with the
possibility to develop their own services on the basis of the
web platform. |
