Project description 3D city models enable spatial analyses and numerical simulations for the optimization of urban systems. Practical experience shows, however, that this involves an extremely high manual effort for repairing the models. CityDoctor2 is therefore developing a process for the automated repair of virtual city models in order to create the necessary prerequisites for a broad and economically attractive use of 3D building data for different application areas. In the subproject Development of an Evolutionary Repair Approach, located at the HFT Stuttgart, a cyclic repair process with the inclusion of evolutionary approaches will be developed, based on an assessment-driven model and application of specific requirements by profiles.
