| Project description | The goal of this project is to determine the substructure of more detailed research projects in which solely thermally-powered system solutions are used for the sustainable supply of heat and cooled air to the residential sector. The central element of the system that is to be used is a diffusion-absorption chiller/heat pump (German: DAKM). Other innovative components include middle temperature solar collectors (100-200°C) and latent storage systems (compact ice accumulator). Technical and economic preliminary research is to be carried out and consortia for both national (German) as well as European framework are to be created, which will gather and implement the collective know-how in cooperative projects. |
