| Project description | This research project deals comprehensively with the capabilities and usage possibilities of multiwall polycarbonate sheets in the field of energy efficient design. This approach is based on three self-contained work packages. The first work package is comprised of documented calculation algorithms that are to be integrated into existing planing tools for the purpose of performing energy evaluations on single and multi-layered multiwall constructions. The goal of this work package is to realize already existing potential. In the second and third work packages, on the other hand, new potential is to be unlocked. This will be facilitated through a systematic evaluation and delineation of existing developmental approaches as well as those that will be developed in research projects. |
