Student Dormitory Reservation
The International Student Office (ISO) arranges reservation of accommodation in local dormitories of the student housing association (Studentenwerk Stuttgart).

Rents for single rooms in student houses within Stuttgart and surroundings range between EUR 275 and EUR 350. Private rooms or individual flats in Stuttgart usually cost more. In general, students will need about EUR 750 / month to cover their living expenses.

- Health Insurance: EUR 75
- Semester Ticket for Public Transport: EUR 180 / 6 months
- Food: approx. EUR 180
- Miscellaneous costs: approx. EUR 150
Rental of a dormitory room includes bed linen (duvet, pillow, duvet cover, pillow case, sheet) which is supplied for a reasonable one time fee by the caretakers of the student residences. Every student residence provides washing machines and tumble-dryers which can be used with special coins or a washing card. Coins are available from the caretaker of your hostel, cards can be charged at provided machines.
