International students enrolling for our degree programmes taught in German language are advised to prepare up to a German language course level of B1 or higher in order to be able to follow course lectures.

The International Office offers both residential and online German courses for exchange students from our partner universities and for international degree students.

Accreditation is based on mandatory attendance and successful completion of a final language test.

Residential intensive language courses for Erasmus/Partner students

Beginners Basic German/ Basis-Deutsch A1

Course duration: 4 weeks (72 hours) including 18 days x 4 hours (4x 45 minutes/ day)
Dates: mid February until mid March and in September (four weeks before semester begin)
