After the completion of the Programme you will obtain the
academic title "Master of Science" (MSc.) in Software
Technology.

It will take 18 months (3 terms) to attain an MSc. in Software
Technology. Detailed information about the available courses you will

Yes. The application deadlines are as follows:
- For Summer semester (starting mid of March):
- October 15th for citizens of non EU countries
- December 15thfor citizens of EU countries
- For Winter semester (starting 1st October):
- April 15th for citizens of non EU countries
- June 15thfor citizens of EU countries
Important
Note:
Even if you are a
citizen of a non EU country and live already in the European Union
you have to apply by October 15th or by April 15th.

Yes. It is strictly required for all applicants, except native
speakers.

Yes. The curriculum is designed so that one can start either
with 1.semester or 2.semester.

Since Summer semester 2007, based on state of law HfT Stuttgart
has introduced tution fees amounting to 500 Euro per semester for all
of its students, just like all the other universities in the state of
Baden-Württemberg.

The medium of instruction is English (including
examinations).

If you need to apply for a visa depends on your home country.
The Federal Foreign Office has published a list of countries whose citizens require or do
not require visas to enter Germany. In case you have to apply for a
visa, please contact the German embassy nearest to you.

The University does not accept certificates/degrees written in
another language except English or German. To obtain a certified
translation, we recommend applicants to contact the German embassy
or a German consulate.

The cost of living in Stuttgart is estimated to be around € 600
per month including accomodation in a student residence. For
details refer to the website of the International Office.

Our university is not able to award any scholarships. There are
certain organizations (e.g. German Academic Exchange Service) and foundations
you can contact and inquire. A list can be found on Campus
Germany (Studying » Scholarships/Grants).

Yes, presently knowledge of German is not required. But basic
knowledge of German is helpful. It is recommended to attend a
German language course in your home country. This facilitates the
orientation in Germany.
