International Case Studies

Every student enrolled in the International Project Management programme participates in one of the yearly international case studies. We claim to qualify our students to be able to manage complex projects in different parts of the world and in a cross-cultural context. Through “field experience” outside lecture rooms and exposure to “intercultural situations” they learn not to be driven by circumstances, to perform as a team and to deal with time constraints and a large amount of information.

Goals:

  • specific knowledge about international construction business and Project Management
  • analyse and survey a complex project in all significant aspects
  • create a professional project review
  • identify strengths and weaknesses in a building process
  • to learn about similarities and differences between Project Management in Europe and worldwide
  • to work in the context of a foreign culture and language

International Case Study Expenses are variable according to the destination. Flight, accommodation and life expenses are covered by Students. Around 1000 € should be taken into account at least by students for this matter. Visa process and expenses should be considered according to your nationality and destination.
