Structure | Module

The first three Master's semesters are each defined by one or two "projects" which are precisely adjusted to each other in sequence. As a rule these project based modules are followed by four further modules, which each consist of an obligatory and optional part. The extensive range of optional subjects is thereby offered with a view to the project themes. In the fourth semester you complete the Master thesis.

Studio | Stuttgart

Integrative teaching methods are the focus of our Master's education. You work in a studio in the university, in small classes, intensively and directly supervised by our professors and guest lecturers. In the middle of Stuttgart, the «city of architects», at a university with a nationwide reputation, which combines all the components of construction in one location, in an interdisciplinary manner. You become a member in a «network of architecture» with partner universities worldwide.

Degree | Master of Arts

Our Master programme builds on a first national or international degree, as a consecutive Architecture porgramme according to the guidelines of UIA (Union Internationale des Architectes) as well as the national and international employment law requirements (chamber access, AiP).

On successful completion you will be awarded the title Master of Arts [M.A. Architecture]. Therefore you have the opportunity to work worldwide. You could carry on to a doctorate or apply for higher service. Master's degrees from polytechnics and universities are formally equated.
