20-24 May 2019 at the HFT Stuttgart

„NeMDa“ is part of the Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM for University Students – BWS plus, a programme of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung.

The project NeMDa (Neue Möglichkeiten der Datenerhebung) deals with new possibilities of data collection, analysis and impact assessment in the water-energy Nexus. Starting 2018, this project brings together students from various disciplines in water-energy Nexus research topics. Based on three urban regions in the USA (New York City), Iran (Tehran), and Germany (Ludwigsburg region), methods will be developed to scale to other urban regions.

As part of the project’s initiatives, several exciting and educative workshops are organized and hosted by partner universities. The broader objective of the workshops is to exchange methods for data collection and data analysis in the context of water-energy Nexus in urban environments among the multi-culture and multi-discipline participants.
The 2019 Stuttgart workshop offers an exciting platform, five days long, to participate in hands on trainings, hackathons and ideas and knowledge exchange on interesting topics listed below:
