HFT Stuttgart offers you a practice oriented degree with the Master programme in General Management. Thereby theoretical study contents are further intensified by teaching concepts such as training, team work and planning games. A special feature of the Master programme in General Management at HFT Stuttgart is, that you complete part of your degree abroad and after successful completion can acquire a double degree or a joined degree. The co-operation partner of the Master programme in General Management is the renowned Napier Business School of Edinburgh Napier University.
The generalistic approach of the programme focuses on the acquisition of broad interdisciplinary knowledge and soft skills in the first three semesters. The students can decide on an individual focus in the scope of a functional major in the fourth semester. This optimally prepares the graduates to fill management positions in an environment characterised by globalisation and internationalisation. The third semester includes the supervised international practical project, to further strengthen the practical approach of the degree. The practical phase is integrated into the curriculum in such a way that the final paper can be written in collaboration with companies. Master's graduates are future managers. They can transfer the broad specialist knowledge they have acquired to specific questions and work on these in a structured and solution oriented manner. Key qualifications and a foreign language support specialist training. In this way the students are qualified to work in international and interdisciplinary teams. The graduates can hold positions in particular in Controlling, Marketing and HR as well as in Purchasing, Logistics and Sales. The Master of Arts degree from HFT Stuttgart makes you eligible for a doctorate and enables entries into higher professions in public administration.
The co-operation partner of the Master programme in General Management is the Napier Business School of the Edinburgh Napier University.
The students of HFT Stuttgart have on the one hand the opportunity of spending an integrated study year in Edinburgh (second and third semester) and after successful completion in addition to the Master of Arts (M.A.) General Management to also receive the Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Business Management from the Edinburgh Napier University.
On the other hand there is the possibility of studying one of the Master programme at Napier Business School -International Business Management and/or International Human Resource Management - in the final semester and, in advance, an extra term. The Master's thesis in the final semester is therefore a co-operation project between both universities. After successful completion the students will also achieve the grade of Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business Management and/or International Human Resource Management from the Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland in addition to the Master of Arts (M.A.) in General Management.
The programme was successfully accredited by the FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation). In addition the field of study of Business Management also has a certified QM system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
