Tuition fees are obligatory for integrated foreign study
semesters prescribed by the study and examination
regulations.
Foreign study semesters that you complete in the scope of the
Supervised Practical Project are generally exempt from tuition
fees. In this is your case, please inform us using the “Supervised

If you are voluntarily studying abroad, then you are exempt from tuition fees. You must inform us of this using the “Foreign Study Semester Notification” form.
How much you have to pay in foreign university tuition fees depends on the respective university. With many partner universities, there is a rule exempting students of fees at the Stuttgart University of Applied Science. If you are interested in studying as a foreign student, then you can obtain information about this from the International Office of Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences.
f you cannot cover the tuition fees with the means available to you, then you have the option of taking out a loan with the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. You can find out which students are eligible for a loan from the Landesbank from the page Granting of Loans. Naturally, other banks also offer student loans.
