Advanced Seminar of the Geomatics Department given by Dr. Rafael Angel Rebolledo Wueffer (Alumnus Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics) with the topic

Valuation of satellite images as indicator of concentration of solid suspended maters in surface in Orinoco Rive

It is a special pleasure for us to announce the talk of Dr. Wueffer in the framework of the Advanced Seminar of the study programme Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics.

Dr. Rafael Rebolledo Wueffer, born in Maracay, Venezuela, is a specialist in Environmental Modeling based on remote sensed data. Most of his projects are related to the implementation of Sustainable Development strategies, based on geomatics techniques, towards to environmental management solutions, land planning, risk assessment, energy resources and climate change.

He is Leader-Author of the Academic Secretary of Climate Change of the National Academy of Natural Sciences, Physics and Mathematics. He has been Lecturer for postgraduate studies in Remote Sensing GIS and Risk for a number of Venezuelan universities.

He holds a PhD in Sustainable Development from the Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela 2014, a Diploma in Environmental Management for Sustainable Development from the National Institute for technical teaching training and research, Chennai, India and a Diploma in Research Management from the Universidad Catholica Andres Bello, Caracas, Venezuela.

He graduated 2003 from our MSc. Programme Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics, Stuttgart Hochschule für Technik.

As alumni of our programme, he will be ready not only to discuss about his presentation, but also about his experiences after graduating from HFT Stuttgart.
