Project description Within the framework of IEA's (International Energy Agency, Paris) project "Annex 51", the case study "Energy Efficient City Ludwigsburg" is being evaluated. This evaluation covers every aspect from the project's political goals to its process management. In one particular part of the project ("Subtask C"), for example, the activities currently being carried out by the City of Ludwigsburg for the purpose of developing an energy and environmental protection plan within integrated urban development planing will be presented. These measures and projects will be evaluated in a preliminary study in such a way that the experiences and lessons learned from this project can be derived and compared to the other international case studies in Subtask C and then used as input for a guidebook that is to be created as part of Subtask D.
